- Professional Consultation: All ear wax and hearing checks will only take place if clinically suitable. Our on-site professional will check exclusion criteria before the ear examination. Absolute exclusions include a current ear infection (or within the last 6 weeks), previous ear surgery (including grommets), current vertigo, foreign bodies or sudden hearing loss
- Preparation: It is important to use olive oil drops (available at our pharmacy) twice daily for 5-7 days prior to your appointment to soften the wax. Please note if wax is not softened prior to an appointment the £20 diagnostic fee will apply. Subsequent appointments will be charged at normal rates (£60 for one ear, £75 for both)
- Private Service: This is a professional clinical service suitable for adults from the age of 18years old.
- Transparent Fees: If treatment is required, a fee is charged for wax removal (one or both ears). If no wax is found, you only pay a small consultation fee for the diagnostic check.
